Freeze Watch Issued For Area

The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Watch for much of central North Carolina from 10 PM on Saturday, Nov. 10, through 9 AM Sunday, Nov. 11.

Wayne County is included in the Freeze Watch.

Lows in the mid-20s to around 30 degrees are expected.

The freezing temperatures could kill sensitive vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

If you have pets or farm animals, endure they have plenty of food and water and a warm place to stay.
