Suspect Arrested In Statutory Sex Offense Case

A suspect is arrested for a statutory sex crime reported in Goldsboro. In late August, the Goldsboro Police Department took a report filed by a juvenile victim.  During the course of the investigation, several agencies including the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, the NC State Bureau of Investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Goldsboro Police Department assisted in the investigation.  40-year-old Kevin L. Grimes of Stantonsburg, NC was eventually identified as the suspect in the case.  Grimes was arrested November 2nd at the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.  He is charged with Statutory Sex Offense with a Child less than 15-Years-Old, Indecent Liberties with a Child, and Sexual Activity by a Substitute Parent.  Grimes was held at the Greene County Jail in lieu of a $250,000 secured bond.

    This guy is no stranger to the law with multiple arrests for trespassing, assault on a female, communicating threats, and driving while license revoked, and all that is in the last 3 years! Maybe he will get what he really wants where he is headed
