The City of Goldsboro is holding a public hearing tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 14, to get public input on a new park.
Citizens are invited to share their ideas for the new District 6 park during the hearing from 5:30 – 8:30 PM tonight at the W.A. Foster Center at 1012 S. John Street.
The input received will help the city determine the programs, amenities and facilities in the park.

Stop wasting money on these things and do something about the drug problems here in town. The police and sheriff’s department would be a better way to spend the money.
How about getting the existing park fixed. Herman park is a poor representative of our park system, an overhaul is long overdue.
What kind of overhaul are you proposing? Herman Park is the best park in the city. There has been a lot of work done before and after the hurricanes over the past 2 years, and this park is outstanding.
