Saluting Seymour

Every week, Saluting Seymour and SoundScope highlight an airman serving at the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.

Airman 1st Class Lee Mutugi from the 4th Security Forces Squadron

Mutugi has been in the Air Force for 2 ½ years, and Seymour Johnson is his second base after being stationed in South Korea. Mutigi was born in Kenya and his family moved to Pennsylvania when he was young.  Like many in the 4th Security Forces Squadron, Mutugi is considering a post-Air Force career in law enforcement.  Mutugi says he’s been focused on his job since moving to Goldsboro. He sees travel and education as the benefits to his Air Force career.
