UPDATE: Two Hospitalized Following Hwy. 70 Crash

Two drivers were injured in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 70 West near Goldsboro Monday morning.  According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, a westbound vehicle crossed the median and struck an eastbound vehicle head-on  near Camden Park Drive just east of the Rosewood community.  Both drivers suffered serious injuries and had to be transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville for treatment.  The driver of the westbound vehicle is being charged with Reckless Driving.

Traffic was backed up along U.S. 70 West just east of the Rosewood community Monday morning as emergency responders cleared a two vehicle accident.
