Doris Flowers Harper 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

 

The Homegoing Celebration will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory at 1500 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC  27534. Private burial will follow at Carver Memorial Cemetery in Mount Olive, NC. The Harper family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm at the Howell Funeral & Crematory.

 

Mrs. Harper was born in Mount Olive on June 16, 1943 to Jonah E. Flowers and Lula Jane Hodges Flowers.  She was a member of New Saints Delight Holiness Church in Mount Olive.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband (Jim C. Harper, Sr.) and parents (Jonah and Lula Flowers). She is survived by two sons; two daughters; eight grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.

 

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1500 Wayne Memorial Drive Goldsboro, NC 27534.
