Firefighter’s Association Holds Annual Banquet (PHOTOS)

The Wayne County Firefighter’s Association held their annual banquet on Jan. 15 at Lane Tree Country Club. The new officers for 2019 were sworn-in shortly after dinner was served, followed by the presentation of the G. Edgar Summerlin Award for Firefighter of the Year.  The new officers for 2019 were Danny Tillman, Secretary/Treasurer; George Lancaster, Vice President; Steve Mozingo, President; Steve Harrision, Past President; Mike Aycock, Chaplain; and Ken Jones, Past President. The G. Edgar Summerlin Award for Firefighter of the Year was presented to Arrington Fire Department Chief Randy Rogers and his wife Norma Rogers.

Wayne County Firefighter’s Association 2019 G. Edgar Summerlin Award for Fireman Of The Year went to Randy Rogers and his wife Norma Rogers.

The Wayne County Firefighter’s Association Annual Banquet was held on Jan. 15 at Lane Tree Country Club.
