Forum Analyzes Funding For Public Schools In N.C.

(NORTH CAROLINA NEWS NETWORK) — When it comes to schools in North Carolina, there are still haves and have nots.

That from the most recent annual report by the Public School Forum.

The Forum’s Keith Poston told a recent gathering in Raleigh that one major difference is salary supplements which come from local funding.

The Forum has been analyzing school funding with a focus on the differences in how counties are able to support education for some three decades.
