Neuse River Expected To Rise Again

A Flood Warning is back in effect for Wayne County.

According to the National Weather Service, the Neuse River near Goldsboro is expected to rise to “Minor Flood Stage” again following Sunday night’s heavy rains across the region.

The Neuse River is expected to crest around 19.4 feet near Goldsboro late Wednesday or early Thursday.

Elsewhere, the Neuse River near Kinston remains in “Minor Flood Stage” with levels holding steady below 17 feet.

A Flood Warning remains in effect for Lenoir County.
