Messages In A Bottle Written By Goldsboro Mother & Daughter

The search is on for a Goldsboro mother and daughter that sent a message in a bottle eight years ago. The bottle was found on a cut bank island near the Emerald Isle Bridge on Friday by a crew for the North Carolina Coastal Federation during their Coastal Clean Up Project.  According to the handwritten letters inside, a girl named Elizabeth and her mother, Stacy, threw the bottle and its accompanying messages off of Oak Island in 2011.  The letters state Elizabeth and Stacy live in Goldsboro. The images of the bottle and letters started circulating Friday on Facebook.
