If he’s trying to turn his life around, good for him and I wish him luck. I’m just tired of seeing the same characters here week after week.

Probably a drug deal that went bad. He’s got drug convictions going back to his teen years…LOTS & LOTS of drug convictions and assorted other charges.

That’s where you’re wrong…it DOES MATTER what he’s done in the past. That’s most likely WHY he’s where he is now. I may be a “LOW LIFE SCUM” by your definition but I have NEVER been arrested, NEVER done drugs and NEVER served time in prison. We raised our children to be decent, honest, law abiding people as well. We’re the kind of people who fall victim to the kind of people with criminal histories like this man has. (You sound an awful lot like Mr. C)

Actually I’ve never been arrested never been in any trouble and I raise my kids the same way you do but I know him and I know the person he has become and yes his past my haunt him but yet he has taken a positive role ….in the hood when you are changing and trying to do something positive you are considered a easy target and it doesn’t matter how you raise your child and what you have installed in them doesn’t mean they want go out and do what they want to do as they begin to make decision on their own so like the person said it could of been your child and whether you chose to admit it or not your not perfect either and you have made your own mistakes you human the same way he is

I didn’t mean to sound so cold-hearted. It’s just so frustrating to see someone throw their life away due to their own behavior and life choices. Far too many people have lived their lives right, yet suffered and experienced tragedy through no fault of their own. This man may possibly have another chance to change his direction in life. Hopefully it will be a “wake-up call” for him. I feel for his family that’s dealing with this. It’s hard to have family suffering regardless of the reason behind it.
