Wayne Co. Firefighters Honor Atlantic Beach Fire Chief

Firefighters from the New Hope Fire Department paused to honor Atlantic Beach Fire Chief Adam Snyder on Tuesday evening.  The 47-year-old Snyder passed away following a weekend snow ski accident in Virginia.  Snyder was transported with police escort through Eastern Carolina and back to Atlantic Beach on Tuesday.  Along the route, numerous firefighters and other emergency responders paid tribute to the fire chief.  In Wayne County, these New Hope firefighters lined the Parkstown Road overpass as Chief Snyder was brought home to his final resting place.
