Saluting Seymour

Every week, Saluting Seymour and SoundScope highlight an airman serving at the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.

Staff Sgt. Brenna McGinn with the 4th Medical Group

McGinn has been in the Air Force five years, spending most of that time at Seymour Johnson. McGinn comes to Goldsboro from Pennsylvania.  She is the first female in her family to join the military, and she says she’s looking forward to traveling with the Air Force.  McGinn is a Unit Deployment Manager, and her duties require her to get medical personnel ready for deployment.  McGinn says training is ongoing for her job, and she’s already received her Associate’s Degree in her career field. During her free time, McGinn likes to hit the gym and spend time with her dog.  Tuition assistance, the people and the experiences are among the benefits McGinn sees with her Air Force career.
