Saluting Seymour

Every week, Saluting Seymour and SoundScope highlight an airman serving at the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.

Tech Sgt. Timothy Carroll with the 4th Fighter Wing

Carroll has been in the Air Force for 8 ½ years. His hometown is in Kansas.  Carroll says there were a few points that sold him on an Air Force career, including the education benefits.  Carroll arrived at Seymour Johnson about 2 ½ years ago after serving in Arizona and Germany.  Carroll works in Supply for the Logistics Readiness Squadron. He’s been adapting to life in and around Goldsboro.  When possible, he and his wife like to drive to Raleigh for a nice dinner.  Life experience is among the benefits Carroll sees with his Air Force career.
