Flood Warning Issued For Wayne County

A Flood Warning is in effect for Wayne County. The National Weather Service issued the Flood Warning Tuesday as the Neuse River near Goldsboro reached 17 feet, entering “Action Stage.”  The Neuse River is currently expected to crest in “Minor Flood Stage” at just over 19 feet on Thursday.

In Lenoir County, a Flood Warning remains in effect.  The Neuse River near Kinston is already entering “Minor Flood Stage” and is expected to continue rising until at least early Sunday.
