Mount Olive Wins First Place In Water Taste Test

A Wayne County community has some of the best tasting water in North Carolina.

For the second time in four years, the Town of Mount Olive has been awarded first place in the North Carolina Rural Water Association Water Taste Test competition at the organization’s statewide convention in Greensboro.

Mount Olive’s Water Plant Supervisor, Deems Blanton, received the award for the Town.

The town congratulates Blanton and his staff for continuing to produce the best tasting water in North Carolina for the residents and businesses of Mount Olive.
