Suspect Charge For Dealing Pot In La Grange

The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office closes out a drug investigation with an arrest. The sheriff’s office reports Nino A. Ford was arrested on Monday, ending the investigation that began in October of 2018.  During the investigation, detectives with the Narcotics Unit reportedly made multiple controlled purchases of marijuana from Ford at a location on the 200 block of W. Boundary Street in La Grange.  The detectives also allegedly seized one ounce of marijuana wrapped in over 20 individual packages for sale.  Ford is charged with three counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana.  He was placed in the W.E. Smith Detention Facility under a $30,000 secured bond.
