Dog Stolen During Break-In

A dog is reportedly stolen out of a Goldsboro home. The Goldsboro Police Department took the report on a breaking and entering at a residence on the 100 block of Piedmont Airline Road Saturday.  The victims stated they had left the home Friday afternoon, and when they returned, they found the rear door of the residence had been forced open.  $950 in cash and a red pit bull and its kennel were reported stolen in the break-in.  There were no suspects listed in the GPD report.

UPDATE: Tuesday morning, Goldsboro Daily News received a message on Facebook stating the missing canine had been found.
