Goldsboro Water Treatment Plant Converting Back To Chloramines

The City of Goldsboro will convert back to chloramines after the Public Works Department completed its annual flushing program.

This conversion is taking place beginning Friday, June 14.

This change is a routine practice in water treatment and will not affect the quality of drinking water.

Chloramines should be removed from water prior to use in kidney dialysis machines and in tropical fish tanks.
