Suspect Accused Of Stealing A Hearse

On June 6th, the Goldsboro Police Department took a report on a vehicle that was stolen from the 600 block of E. Ash Street.  A 2003 Cadillac Hearse was reported stolen from the business.  The vehicle was recovered June 7th at a body shop in Snow Hill.  The investigation led to warrants being secured on 22-year-old Javier T. Gray of Fayetteville for Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, and Breaking and Entering.  Gray was arrested by deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on Friday on the 100 block of Ormond Avenue.  He was confined at the Wayne County Jail under a $9,000 secured bond.

    Sounds like he stole the hearse from a body shop, to take it to another body shop!

    If he keeps on stealing, he might really need one.

      He was arrested on the 100 block of Ormond Avenue, guess he is like a homing pigeon and was close to the court house as though it is his second home
