66 Grams Of Heroin Seized During Traffic Stop

Two people are facing drug charges after GPD officers stopped a vehicle for a window tint violation. On Tuesday, officers from the Goldsboro Police Department’s Housing Unit conducted the traffic stop on the 300 block of W. Grantham Street.  A K-9 unit alerted on the vehicle, and officers reportedly seized over 60 grams of suspected heroin, 200 grams of marijuana, and one gram of cocaine.  30-year-old Travis E. Atkinson of Goldsboro and 28-year-old Dominique S. McNair of Raleigh were arrested and charged.  Atkinson’s bond was set at $1,002,500 secured.  McNair was given a $6,000 secured bond.
