Medical Examiner Rules Death As Accidental

The State Medical Examiner has determined an April death in Goldsboro was accidental. On April 1st, the Goldsboro Police Department responded to the 1100 block of N. Berkeley Boulevard where an unknown male was found deceased in an enclosed dumpster area.  The decedent was identified as 38-year-old Edward E. Webb, Jr., but the cause of death was not immediately determined.  The North Carolina Chief Medical Examiner’s Officer was asked to investigate, and no signs of foul play were discovered.  The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office informed the Goldsboro P.D. last week that Webb’s death was accidental.
