Juveniles Arrested For Vehicle Break-In

Tuesday morning, a victim reported to the Goldsboro Police Department his vehicle was broken into while it was parked in a parking lot in the 600 block of N. Spence Avenue. The victim stated his iPhone and approximately $100 in US currency were stolen and the center console of his vehicle damaged.

While investigating the break-in, GPD officers received information from witnesses about two juvenile suspects leaving the area and traveling toward Spence Avenue on bicycles. Officers were able to locate two bicycles matching the description given by witnesses outside the Spence Avenue Wal-Mart. Upon further investigation, the juvenile suspects were identified and located inside Wal-Mart and taken into custody.

The victim’s property was recovered and returned to him. Juvenile petitions were secured against the suspects. Additionally, Secured Custody Orders were issued by Juvenile Court authorities and the juveniles were transported to a juvenile detention center.
