WCC Implements Nissan Technician Program (PHOTOS)

A new program will get Wayne Community College students trained and working on Nissan and Infinity vehicles.

WCC is one of the few schools in the country invited to become a Nissan/Infinity Technician Training Academy.

Bryant Keel is the Director of the Automotive Technician Education Program at WCC.

He says students in the new program will be able to start working at a Nissan dealership after just one semester.

Keel says there is a strong demand for automotive technicians across all manufacturers.

Representatives from Nissan/Infinity were at WCC Thursday for the official kickoff of the new training program.

Nissan also donated three vehicles to WCC for students to train on.
