Saluting Seymour

Every week, Saluting Seymour and SoundScope highlight an airman serving at the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.

Airman First Class Alexander Nolan with the 4th Security Forces Squadron

Nolan has been in the Air Force about a year and a half, and he’s just down the road from his hometown of Fuquay-Varina. His duties with the 4th Security Forces Squadron include working at the gate and riding on patrol.  Nolan says he has a goal for his post-Air Force career.  He wants to become a high school band teacher.  Nolan says he was familiar with Goldsboro before coming to Seymour Johnson, and he likes the location.  He says the benefits to an Air Force career include tuition assistance, health care, travel, and job security.  Nolan also enjoys meeting the wide range of people in the Air Force.
