Carl David Nanz, 61, resident of the Brock’s Chapel area near Mount Olive,died early Sunday morning, August 11, 2019.

His life will be remembered in a service to be held Wednesday, August 14, at 6 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. Officiating will be the Rev. W. Arthur Warren, Jr. A time of visitation will follow the service.

Mr. Nanz was a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He had been owner/operator of National Towing and Recovery Service.

Surviving him is his wife, Maria Carallo; a son, David Michael Nanz and his fiance, Breanna Outlaw of Fremont; a grandson, Grayson Wade Nanz of Fremont; his mother and step-father, Carol Munce Nanz Simpson and Norm Simpson of Pennsylvania; and three sisters, Sunnie Jean Nanz Klobchar. Carol Lee Nanz Wickline, and Marci Elizabeth Nanz Joy, all of Pennsylviania.

His father, Wallace Edward Nanz, Sr. and a brother, Wallace Edward Nanz, Jr., preceded him in death.
