WCSO: Driver Caught With Meth

A suspect is allegedly caught with meth during a Wayne County traffic stop. Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office pulled the vehicle over on Thursday for a motor vehicle violation.  A passenger in the pickup truck reportedly told deputies she had some marijuana inside the vehicle.  The vehicle was searched and a glass smoking pipe was located.  The meth was allegedly found in the driver’s wallet.  The driver, 42-year-old Christopher L. Turner of New Bern, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving While License Revoked.  He was given a $2,500 secured bond and placed into the Wayne County Jail.
