Saluting Seymour

Every week, Saluting Seymour and SoundScope highlight an airman serving at the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.

Capt. Sharie Hudson with the 4th Fighter Wing

Hudson has been in the Air Force nearly two years. She grew up in the Atlanta area.  Hudson is a Judge Advocate General, which you may be familiar with from the TV show or “JAG” the film “A Few Good Men.”  Hudson was already a practicing attorney when she joined, and she says she enjoys the differences in practicing law with the Air Force.  She enjoys her Military Assistance duties and hearing stories from older veterans she’s helping.  Coming from larger cities, Hudson says Goldsboro has been a different type of experience for her.  She enjoys spending time in Downtown Goldsboro and hopes to visit the beach soon.  Hudson says the Air Force has expanded her view on how the government operates, and she appreciates being part of something greater.
