Shelter Pets Find Their FUR-Ever Home (PHOTOS)

The Wayne County Animal Shelter got off to a very good start Saturday as people poured in for the annual Clear the Shelter Day. Officials from the shelter said the flow of people was steady as people came looking to adopt a new friend to take home.  At the end of business Saturday, Wayne County Animal Services reports 50 dogs and 41 cats were adopted during Clear the Shelters.  That left just nine felines at the shelter by the end of the day Saturday.
