Motorcyclists Ride To Fairgrounds For Caisson Unit (PHOTOS)

The North Carolina Trooper Association Caisson Unit held its 2nd annual Ride as One on Saturday, attracting motorcyclists to participate in a ride from Shelton’s Harley Davidson in Smithfield to the Wayne County Fairgrounds.  The event raises funds for the Caisson Unit, which provides horse-drawn wagon transport during the funerals of fallen law enforcement, emergency responders and dignitaries in five states.  The NCTA Caisson Unit is housed here in Wayne County.  Once the motorcycles arrived at the fairgrounds, there was live entertainment, raffles, a car and bike show, and more.

The NCHP and other LEOs have all my respect. I just wish an event like this did not attract biker clubs who have no respect for traffic safety.
