Suspect Accused Of Flushing Meth During Arrest

A suspect is accused of destroying suspected meth as she’s confronted by law enforcement. Last week, officers with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office were serving outstanding warrants for trafficking methamphetamine.  The officers gained probable cause to search two vehicles and their occupants.  While searching 21-year-old Destiny Cheyenne Bucio of Goldsboro, she was allegedly able to destroy a substantial amount of suspected meth by flushing it down a toilet.  A brief struggle ensued, and Bucio was taken into custody.  An open container of alcohol was allegedly found in Bucio’s purse.  Bucio was charged with Steal or Destroy Criminal Evidence, Transportation/Possession of an Open Container, and Resist, Delay, or Obstructing an Officer.  Bucio was placed into the Wayne County Detention Center with bond set at $10,000 secured.

So sad to see so many young people on Meth.
Prayers that you will somehow get off of this terrible drug.
