Suspect Allegedly Sold Stolen Items At Local Pawn Shop

A suspect is accused of selling stolen items at a Goldsboro pawn shop. On Friday, the Goldsboro Police Department was notified by the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office of an obtaining property by false pretense that occurred July 22nd.  A breaking and entering to a motor vehicle had occurred in Warsaw, NC, with property stolen in that incident being sold at a pawn shop in Goldsboro.  The investigation led to warrants being secured on 31-year-old Sarah. D. Hope of Dudley for Obtaining Property by False Pretense and Possession of Stolen Goods.  Monday night, Hope turned herself in at the Wayne County Magistrate’s Office.  She received a $500 secure bond.
