Wayne County Fair Officials Pleased With 2019 Event

Organizers feel a sense of accomplishment as the “Best Ten Days of Fall” come to an end.

The 2019 Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair wrapped up Saturday.

Fair Manager Eddie Pitzer says it was a great ten days.

Even though the festivities wrapped up Saturday evening, Pitzer says there was still plenty of activity on the fairgrounds Sunday and Monday.

The exhibits were released on Sunday and cleanup on the fairgrounds began Monday.

Pitzer says the fair gets a lot of great participation from the community.

Pitzer says the preliminary data shows this year’s fair will be slightly above last year’s average for attendance, and they’re already looking at the 2020 fair.

This was the 71st year of the Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair.
