GPD Seeks Information On Identity Theft Suspect

Goldsboro Police are looking for an identity theft suspect. On September 27th, the Goldsboro Police Department took a report on the identity theft and obtaining property by false pretense that had occurred at Toyota of Goldsboro.  The victim reported that on April 29th, a person had gained access to her personal information and used it to take out a loan to purchase a vehicle costing over $30,000. A separate report was filed with the Raleigh Police Department regarding additional fraud and forgery involving the same individual.  On October 2nd, the Goldsboro Police Department’s investigation led to warrants being secured on Jerad Dobruck of Southport, NC, for Identity Theft and Obtaining Property by False Pretense.  Anyone with knowledge of Dobruck’s whereabouts is asked to notify law enforcement or call Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255.
