Tropical Cyclone 16 Targets North Carolina

The 2019 Hurricane Season isn’t over yet. In fact, it appears Mother Nature is going to send another tropical system toward North Carolina this weekend.  Potential Tropical Cyclone 16 is currently in the Gulf of Mexico, and the storm is expected to race toward the northeast crossing North Carolina Saturday into Sunday.  Rain is possible later in the day Saturday in Wayne County, and heavy rain is expected across the area Saturday night into Sunday.  There’s also a possibility for gusty winds as part of the storm.
