Sheriff’s Office Seeks School Threat Suspect

Wayne County authorities are looking for a suspect accused of making a threat against a local high school. On September 26th,  the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office took a report on a phoned-in false bomb threat at Southern Wayne High School.  The Criminal Investigations Division took over the case and the investigation has identified the caller as 18-year-old Taheim R. Leach.  Warrants have been secured for Leach’s arrest.  Leach’s last known address is on the 100 block of Farmstead Circle in Dudley and he’s known to frequent locations in Goldsboro off Maple Street.

Anyone with information on Leach’s location is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office at 919-731-1480 or Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255.
