Fair Fight Leads To Charges Against Juveniles

Charges are filed against three males allegedly involved in a fracas at the Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office responded to the altercation at this year’s fair on October 5th.  The deputies found a male juvenile had been assaulted by multiple people.  The victim was treated by EMS at the scene and was transported to the hospital.  After multiple interviews and reviewing video from the scene, the sheriff’s office says three juvenile males have been charged with Disorderly Conduct by Fighting and Assault Inflicting Serious Injury.  The three suspects cannot be identified due to their age.

This case is separate and apart from the incident involving a Wayne County Sheriff’s deputy and a female at the fair that same evening.

  1. Adamrothman says:

Satuday night at the fair? Most families know to stay away that night.

  2. huh? says:

If it a fair fight why they charge them?

  3. Citizen says:

Good! These little punks need to learn that nobody is scared of them!! It took three??? Like I said …punks!!

  4. my 2 cents says:

Ban all the involved hooligans for life, that will send a message that the fair is a place for family fun, not some backstreet to settle petty arguments and cause a scene.

    • Jones says:

Banning them will do no good. If they respected the law in the first place there would have been no fight. Heck, that would be a challenge to them.
