Marvin Edgar Charlton

December 1, 79, Mount Olive

Mr. Marvin Edgar Charlton, resident of East Pine Forest, Mount Olive, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 1, 2019 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was 79.

He had served in the United States Navy and was a retired sewing machine mechanic and maintenance man.

Surviving him are two daughters, Lynn Charlton and Joseph of Mount Olive, and Leah Secor and Jimmy of Penn.; a son, Leo Trusler and Beth, of Miss.; a brother, Roy Charlton of Arizona; a sister, Colleen of Colorado; grandchildren, Jesse, Joshua, and Jacob Trusler, and Jessica Secor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona W. Charlton; parents, Clinton E. and Gladys Nove Charlton; and brother, Gene Charlton.

Graveside rites will be Thursday, December 5, at 1 p.m. in Mount Olive’s Maplewood Cemetery with the family to greet friends immediately following.
