ACE Team Patrol Leads To Cocaine Bust

On Thursday, members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s ACE Team were on patrol in the area of I-795. A vehicle was stopped for a safe movement violation, and deputies reported spotting the passenger attempting to conceal what appeared to be cocaine in his hand.  The Deputies also spotted a large damaged plastic bag containing cocaine on the floor of the vehicle.  The passenger, 30-year-old Gary L. Langston of Fremont, was arrested.  He’s charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Destruction of Evidence, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Langston’s bond was set at $20,000, and he was left in the custody of the Wayne County Detention Center.
