Thunderstorm Leaves Trail Of Damage In Wayne Co. (PHOTOS)

The late Monday afternoon thunderstorm that swept across the southern part of Wayne County left some damage in the Smith Chapel Area. A few trees were knocked down and power lines were blown over along with the some structural damages. The old Baker Chapel Church was demolished by the winds from the storm. Steps were blown across the yards of several residents on Baker Chapel Church Road, and trees were blown down in several yards. A few trees had fallen across parts of Shady Grove Road.
