Stabbing Suspect Charged With Murder

A charge of Murder is filed against a man accused of a fatal stabbing in Kinston. On Tuesday, the Kinston Police Department responded to the 7 Building of Carver Courts and found a 29-year-old male with a fatal stab wound to the chest.  The suspect, 26-year-old Anthony A. Brooks of Kinston, was immediately taken into custody at the scene.  Brooks was taken to UNC Lenoir for a stab wound to his arm and later had to be transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.  The KPD says Brooks will be served with the Murder warrants upon his release from the hospital.

Anyone with additional information on the fatal stabbing is asked to contact the Kinston Police Department.

We,taxpayers, also pay their attorneys .As the mother who has lost a child to robbery/murder, this enraged me as i fought to have the two responsible in my son’s murder convicted. while their appointed attorney (paid by. Us) fought to get them off. # justice doesnt exist#

Taxpayers should not be paying the medical bills of murderers.

Taxpayers should also not be paying their room and board, court costs, etc.
