Congressman Butterfield To Speak At City’s Annual MLK Day Luncheon

The City of Goldsboro will host its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Luncheon at noon this Monday, Jan. 20, at The First PH Church, 1100 The First Church Road, Goldsboro.

U.S. Congressman G.K. Butterfield will be the keynote speaker for the event. Butterfield, a Wilson native, is a former civil rights attorney who has served North Carolina’s 1st Congressional District since 2014.

Musical group Stronger Faith, the “Wayne County Dreamgirls,” will provide entertainment during the event.
