ACE Team Makes Drug Bust Near Rosewood

On Sunday, February 16th, the Wayne County ACE Team stopped a vehicle in the area of Highway 70 and Highway 581.  A probable cause search of the vehicle was executed allegedly resulting in the recovery and seizure of illegal narcotics.  27-year-old Mercedes R. Edwards of Greenville and 27-year-old McKinley J. Walker of Goldsboro were arrested and charged.  Walker’s bond was set at $3,500 secured while Edwards was given a $2,000 secured bond.  They were both placed into the Wayne County Detention Center.

    Ok….when do they consider someone a habitual felon?
    This guy has a record of over 60 B&E Charges (yes I said 60) 55 just in vehicles
    Some B&E in churches.
    Possession of stolen goods over $1000
    Just do us a favor and keep him

    The hate is deep on this site. Empathy is at a loss for the majority of people in the world. These two , among others posted on this site, need help & deliverance from addiction. Most are self medicating to appease different forms of mental illness.
    Try showing compassion to those who may have been dealt worse cards than you..
