“Weaving a New History”

February 27, 2019 – February 28, 2019 all-day
Wayne County Public Library
1001 E. Ash Street Goldsboro
NC 27530
Carolyn Hill

An ongoing creative project will begin on February 1st and will last throughout the month. “Weaving a New History” is an open art project in which everyone is invited to participate. Help us build a tapestry of diversity in Wayne County. Pick up a paper tag at the display in the front of the Library and write what diversity means to you, or name an African-American person who has enriched your life. Then attach the tag to a strand of yarn, and weave your inspiration into the fabric on our large loom. The completed fabric will be displayed at the Library.
