Members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office ACE Team were patrolling the area of N.C. 111 South last week Friday. While patrolling the area, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a window tint violation. Deputies gained probable cause to search the vehicle, where they allegedly found meth along with items of drug paraphernalia. The driver, 29-year-old Nicholas C. Grady of Mount Olive, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Vehicle for Controlled Substance. Grady received a $6,000 unsecured bond.
