On Monday, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team stopped a vehicle for a Chapter 20 violation. A K-9 unit gave a positive alert on the vehicle leading to a probable cause search. ACE Team members reportedly discovered illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and in possession of 36-year-old Elizabeth L. Bartlett of Fayetteville. Bartlett was arrested for charges including Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Heroin. She was also found to be wanted in several counties for outstanding warrants. Bartlett was given an $18,500 secured bond. She was turned over to the Wayne County Detention Center for booking.
