WCC Adult High School Announces Honors

Wayne Community College’s Adult High School Program has honored students for outstanding academic achievement.

Nathaniel Lee was named to the Honors List for the Spring I session and Kandis Whitley earned a slot on that list for the Spring II session. Both are from Goldsboro.

To be included on the Honors List, students must have completed at least two courses in the enrollment period with a “B” or higher average and no grade lower than a “B.”

Eleven students were recognized as 2019-2020 Honor Graduates. They are:

  • Summer Marie Bennett, Elizabeth Grace Johnston, Jonathan Caleb Langston of Pikeville
  • Kassandra Baez Boyd, Kenneth Lamel Fullard, Carsyn Gabrielle Jones, Nathaniel Walker Lee, Tyler Storme Miller of Goldsboro
  • Dawn Christine Keat of Fayetteville
  • Jorge Abram Marmolejo of Seven Springs
  • Goliath Mark Wendell of La Grange.

These students had received an A or a B in all adult high school courses.

The Adult High School at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro offers a tuition-free program of courses for adults 16 years or older who want to complete their high school education. It is one of the programs in the Transitional Programs for College and Career Department that address the needs of Wayne County’s adult residents with below-high school education levels.
