(NORTH CAROLINA NEWS NETWORK) — Just in time for Hurricane season, North Carolina emergency response officials are out with a new way to manage traffic if there’s a need for an evacuation in coastal regions.

At a media briefing, State Public Safety Security Secretary Erik Hooks says they have created a color coded plan that designates risk.
