Last Thursday, 1,500 pounds of irish potatoes was delivered to the First United Methodist Church in Mount Olive. This is part of the church’s program to help feed the public. It allows the people and other Church organizations the opportunity to distribute food in their communities. Volunteers began bagging up the potatoes Thursday afternoon so the people could come by and pick them up Friday morning.
