Saturday morning, the football field at Eastern Wayne High School came alive with 226 students dressed up in their caps and gowns for their graduation ceremony. The event lasted a little over an hour. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the crowd size had to be limited and the students were spaced out on the field as they waited to receive their diploma.
